SARAJEVO, August 30 (FENA) - President of the International Center for Peace Ibrahim Spahić extended congratulations to all citizens and institutions in BiH that mark 29th August 1189 – the Day of the Charter of Ban Kulin.
Spahić said it is time to celebrate Ban Kulin's Charter as an extraordinary historic BiH and European holiday of political, cultural and trade diplomacy and he announced he would send a proposal to the State Commission for Cooperation with UNESCO to add Ban Kulin's Charter to the Tentative List for nomination for the UNESCO World Heritage List.
"It is only natural to organize marking of the 830th anniversary of Ban Kulin's Charter together with Dubrovnik next year and to mark August 29 as a significant event in the history of the world," said Spahić, International Center for Peace stated.
