Ivanić-EPP delegation: Elections must not stand in the way of the Reform Agenda

SARAJEVO, August 30 (FENA) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mladen Ivanić, today talked with the delegation of the European People's Party about the political situation in BiH, amendments to the Election Law, the implementation of the Reform Agenda, and the European path of the country.

The participants of the meeting concluded that the elections must not stand in the way of the implementation of the Reform Agenda, and that BiH must not fail to miss out on a positive moment and that it must make the most significant step on the European path, the BiH Presidency said.

The delegation of the European People's Party that met with Ivanić included the Head of the delegation of the European People's Party and Vice-President of the EPP Group in charge of enlargement and Mediterranean politics Andrey Kovatshev, Member of the Development Committee and Rapporteur of the European Parliament for BiH Cristian Dan Preda, Vice President of the Delegation for Relations with BiH and Kosovo Dubravka Šuica, a member of the International Trade Committee of the European Parliament Adam Szeynfeld and a member of the Delegation for Relations with BiH and Kosovo Željana Zovko.
