BiH Court addresses Prosecution over death threats to Debevec and other judges

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, August 31 (FENA) - The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina today sent a letter to the Prosecutor's Office of BiH in connection to death threats sent to the President of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina Ranko Debevec in July and August and other judges and heads of judicial institutions at the state level.

In the letter, the Court authorities expressed concern over the fact that this crime has not been properly investigated yet, although more than a month has passed since it happened.

The Court of BiH emphasized in its statement that this criminal offense endangers not only personal security of the holders of judicial duties as individuals, but also by the overall security situation that subsequently reflects on the entire judiciary in the country, stated the BiH Court.
