SARAJEVO, September 5 (FENA) - Minister of Security of BiH Dragan Mektić met yesterday with Director of the Intelligence-Security Agency (OSA) Osman Mehmedagić, who assured him there is no reason why this agency would wiretap President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik and President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić.
Mektić confirmed this at a press conference in Sarajevo today, adding that reports on wiretapping are false, but he noted that problem lies in the BiH Parliament, which has not appointed competent surveillance commission for OSA for over a year.
Due to alleged wiretapping, Dodik said that OSA should be abolished and that he would include this in the agenda as "the future member of this institution" and if this issue is not resolved he warned that "RS will step out of the agreement on formation of this agency and it would form a separate agency".
