15 candidates running for BiH Presidency

SARAJEVO, September 7 (FENA) – A total of 15 candidates are running for members of the state presidency in this-year's General Elections. Out of this number, six candidates are running for Bosniak member of the Presidency, five for Croat member and four for Serb member of the Presidency from Republika Srpska.

Candidates running for Bosniak member are Mirsad Hadžikadić from Platform for Progress, Fahrudin Radončić (Alliance for Better Future - SBB), Senad Šepić (Independent Bloc - NB), Šefik Džaferović (Party of Democratic Action - SDA), Denis Bećirović (Social Democratic Party - SDP) and Amer Jerlagić (Party for BiH).

Candidates running for Croat member are Jerko Ivanković-Lijanović (People's Party Working for Progress), Dragan Čović (Croat Democratic Union - HDZ BiH), Boriša Falatar (Our Party), Diana Zelenika (HDZ 1990) and Željko Komšić (Democratic Front - DF).

Citizens residing in Republika Srpska will be able to vote for Mirjana Popović (Serb People's Party - SNS), Mladen Ivanić (Alliance for Victory), Milorad Dodik (Alliance of Independent Social Democrats - SNSD) and Gojko Kličković (First Serb Democratic Party - Prva SDS).

General Elections are taking place on October 7 and the official pre-election campaign, which concludes on October 6 at 7 a.m., begins today.
