Ahead of the signing of the Free Trade Agreement between the two countries, he expressed hope that, the application of this agreement would help further increase the volume of trade between the two countries thus exceeding one billion USD.

Minister Turhan pointed out that the Republic of Turkey attaches great importance to the Sarajevo-Belgrade road communication project and emphasized the importance of exchanging all information about the execution of this project, both with Bosnia and Herzegovina and with the Republic of Serbia, reminding that this is a joint activity of the three countries.

Thanks to the initiative of the President of the Republic of Turkey, Erdogan and all the activities that have been conducted in the past months, this meeting was yet another step towards the beginning of the implementation of this extremely important project.

This is the best way to connect the industrial zones and two important international corridors. In this way, we accelerate the development of the economy, which is crucial for the development of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

I take the opportunity to once again thank Minister Turhan for the support, and in particular the President of the Republic of Turkey for his decision to go ahead with this project,” said Minister Jusko.
