SARAJEVO, September 11 (FENA) – The campaign for the project "#ŽeneBiH", after which the first book in the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina about the outstanding women of BiH will be published, will start tomorrow when all interested parties will be able to donate the desired amount of money, as well as to preorder a copy of this book by clicking on a link.
At the beginning of March, Amila Hrustić Batovanja, Masha Durkalić and Hatidža Gušić launched a campaign on social networks to remind us of the influential women from BiH history, which have been forgotten or neglected in modern historiography.
The book "#ŽeneBiH" will consist of short biographies of more than 50 women, with unique illustrations of 50 Bosnian female artists, designers and/or illustrators.
Women are also exclusively engaged in the design, because in this way the authors of the project wanted to contribute to the visibility of women and show the work of BiH female artists, designers and illustrators.
The campaign will offer donors other interesting products such as brooches with miniature portrait paintings of some of the significant women from the history of BiH, as well as some board games, original art works of BiH artists and much more, the organizers said.
