Employers asking for support from political parties

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, September 12 (FENA) - Association of Employers of the Federation of BiH sent a document named "What Employers Expect from the Government" to all major political parties that will participate in the General Elections in BiH.

This strategic document, which was presented to the public earlier, states that employers are asking the political parties to support demands of the employment towards creating a better business environment.

This strategic document is a result of public discussion which involved more than 20,000 employers (members of the Association). Text was adopted by the Executive Board of the Association at the end of August.

"Demands delivered to representatives of political parties refer to amendments to the Law on VAT, disburdening economy on all levels, improving business environment, proposals for six acts that would enable social partners to participate in the making and adoption of all laws and bylaws in their interest, improving economic-social councils on all levels, emergency adoption of five laws drafted by the Association of Employers of FBiH, adoption of 19 laws drafted by the Association and starting work on fiscal devaluation," it is stated.
