SARAJEVO, September 12 (FENA) - Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to BiH Martin Pammer stated in Sarajevo this morning that his country supports further enlargement of the European Union, even though not all members share that view.

Pammer said at a conference "Europe, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Austrian Chairmanship of the EU" that BiH is preparing for elections at the moment, which is an important moment, and that he hopes it will get constructive forces that will continue working on implementation of the Reform Agenda and the European path.

He explained they will discuss important internal and foreign issues on the EU path at the conference and what the EU enlargement means, is it still desirable or not and what needs to be done in that area.

"Austria has great interest for BiH to move forward and that is why we organized this conference, to discuss what is necessary, what is possible and what is not," said Pammer.

Conference gathered policy creators, analysts, experts and civil society, to discuss the main aspects of the EU enlargement and the EU integration process of BiH, and topics such as reforms, rule of law, bilateral issues, reconciliation and visions for the future.
