There are certain investment opportunities, and therefore, communication with the political leaders of the Una-Sana Canton and the City of Bihać is important to us,” said today Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to BiH, Mahmoud Heidari, during his visit to Bihać.
Ambassador Heidari visited the International Fair of Ecology "EKOBIS 2018" and held meetings with the Cantonal Prime Minister Husein Rošić and the Mayor of Bihać, Šuhret Fazlić.
“EKOBIS Fair is a very interesting project, where we also see numerous possibilities for connection and cooperation,” said Ambassador Heidari.
The USC Prime Minister Husein Rošić noted that Iran is among world leading countries when it comes to oil and natural gas resources.
“We see our opportunity here, especially when we consider that our ambassador to Iran is a person originating from this region. We will try to work together to promote our Una National Park, so that perhaps next year we would have a significantly larger number of tourists from this country. We also have a common interest in the production of healthy food, therefore it is obvious how important this visit by the Ambassador of Iran is to us,” said Rošić.
Mayor of Bihać Šuhret Fazlić and Ambassador Heidari discussed, among other things, cultural cooperation, which has been already established some time ago with the Embassy of Iran.
“We want to improve this cooperation, because this is a great chance and of great importance to our city. Also, we need to thank our friends from Iran for all the assistance they provided to us in the wartime period,” said Mayor Fazlić.
