BIHAĆ, September 14 (FENA) - Bosnia and Herzegovina has an outstanding gastronomic offer, which is revered everywhere in the world and needs to be promoted in an adequate manner in our tourism offer, it was said at today's panel "Gastro tourism - new opportunities for tourism development in BiH" within the 16th edition of the International Ecology Fair "EKOBIS 2018" taking place in Bihać.
“Speaking about the combination of gastronomy and tourism, Bosnia and Herzegovina has incredible potential. Given the reactions and impressions of tourists, this can definitely be an important segment of the tourist menu. We are constantly opening up the possibility of expanding this offer in all parts of the country so that the tourist season could last for almost entire year,” said President of the FBiH Chamber of Commerce of BiH Marko Šantić.
The Agreement on Cooperation between the Una Tourism Cluster and the Tourism Cluster of Herzegovina was signed on this occasion.
“The Una Tourism Cluster is the youngest cluster in BiH and has 27 members - hotels, restaurants, tourism-sports associations and agencies.
The goal of the Cooperation Agreement is to better connect, exchange experiences and create common tourism goals and offers. Tourism in both of these regions is an unavoidable development factor, and this is why we need to work together and exchange ideas,” said President of the Una Tourism Cluster Zrinka Delić.
