Izetbegović receives credentials from Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to BiH

SARAJEVO, September 14 (FENA) - Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bakir Izetbegović received today the credentials of the Ambassador of Yemen to BiH, based in Berlin, Yahia Mohammed Abdullah Al-Shaibi.

Al-Shaibi informed Izetbegović about the consequences of the severe humanitarian crisis in Yemen, caused by the ongoing war in his country.

The Ambassador also spoke about the efforts to reach a solution to end the conflict.

Izetbegović voiced his expectations that the political and security situation in the Republic of Yemen will soon stabilize, in order to put an end to the humanitarian crisis and the suffering of civilians.

The newly appointed Ambassador of Yemen Al-Shaibi expressed his determination to devote his work to closer cooperation and further strengthening of the good bilateral relations between the two countries.

Chairman of the BiH Presidency wished Ambassador of Yemen a successful term in office, stated the BiH Presidency.
