Cormack: Support for continuation of cooperation between EPBiH and Microsoft

SARAJEVO, September 25 (FENA) - General Manager and Chief Executive Officer of the public enterprise Elektroprivreda BiH (EPBiH), Bajazit Jašarević and Muhamed Ražanica, and Director of Microsoft BiH Omar Krivošija, signed today the Agreement on the continuation of business and technical cooperation.

The United States Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Maureen Cormack, also attended the signing.

Under the agreement, Elektroprivreda BiH will be able to acquire access to current versions of Microsoft products in the coming period and continue the process of digital transformation within the company with the support of Microsoft.

Ambassador Cormack expressed satisfaction with the fact that Elektroprivreda BiH establishes its partnerships with American companies based on compliance with the laws in force.

“This agreement gives us the power, the right and the ability to tell our companies that their intellectual rights will be protected, because Elektroprivreda BiH fully complies with the laws, which is a guarantee for investment safety. We can say to our companies that they will be protected here in BiH,” said Cormack.

Emphasizing that the Agreement on the continuation of business and technical cooperation with Microsoft represents a confirmation of years of successful cooperation and trust, Bajazit Jašarević, General Manager of Elektroprivreda BiH, especially thanked the US Government and Ambassador Cormack for the support provided to BiH.
