Bomb threat near British Embassy building in Sarajevo turns out to be false

SARAJEVO, September 26 (FENA) - Officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton, after the completion of the investigation, concluded that the reported bomb threat near the building of the Embassy of the United Kingdom in Sarajevo was in fact a false one, as the spokeswoman of the SC MoI Suvada Kuldija confirmed in a statement to FENA.

She added that the police have completed the investigation at around 16.00 hrs., and that the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office was duly informed about it.

The SC MoI got a call today about at 13.00 hrs. that an explosive device was placed in the parking lot at Hamdije Ćemerlića Street in Sarajevo near the building of the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
