SARAJEVO, October 3 (FENA) - Minister of Civil Affairs of BiH Adil Osmanović met in Sarajevo with Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to BiH Mahmoud Heidari and discussed cooperation between the two countries, especially in area of culture.
"It is important to us that we have a good cultural cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran. It is an old civilization from which we can learn a lot, especially in area of restoration and conservation of old manuscripts," said Osmanović, adding it is necessary to make a plan of cultural, educational and sports cooperation for the next two years.
Heidari offered assistance of Iranian professors and experts in preservation of old manuscripts.
Representatives of Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran informed Osmanović that Iranian Film Week will be held for the fourth time in Sarajevo in February next year, and they also pay significant attention to events within the Iranian Culture Week in several cities of BiH.
They said they expect the upcoming elections to be held in a democratic atmosphere and that a successful cooperation will be continued between IR Iran and BiH, Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH stated.
