SARAJEVO, October 8 (FENA) - The NATO EADRCC field exercise "Serbia 2018" will be held in the period from 7 to 12 October, in which the representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina will take part with 37 members of the FBiH Civil Protection Administration, who will be engaged in devised scenario containing incidents after a powerful earthquake (6.7 Richter scale), at a depth of 10 kilometers, which hit the wider area of the City of Belgrade, the municipality of Mladenovac.
In the above mentioned scenario, due to the exhaustion of local capacities and the coming cold weather, the Republic of Serbia has requested international assistance through the NATO EADRCC.
The international field exercise, according to the envisaged scenario, in addition to the participants of the exercise, will also include operational centers from participating countries, by sending requests and offer for assistance, under NATO EADRCC procedure, as is general practice when providing international assistance in real situations.
The exercise will also include the NICS system - command system for incidents, announced the Operations Center of the FBiH Civil Protection Administration.
