SARAJEVO, October 9 (FENA) - The real GDP growth in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the second quarter of this year, compared to the same quarter of 2017, amounted to 3.4 percent.
The BiH Statistics Agency announced that the seasonally adjusted data series shows GDP growth in the second quarter of 1.1 percent compared to the previous quarter.
In the second quarter of this year, compared to the same quarter of 2017, significant growth of gross value added was recorded in the area of production and supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning by 16.8 percent, and wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles 11.7 percent.
The real drop in gross value added was recorded in the area of other service activities by 7.8 percent.
