SARAJEVO, October 15 (FENA) - Parliamentary Military Commissioner of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Boško Šiljegović, today spoke with EUFOR Commander in BiH, Major General Martin Dorfer, who was briefed on the activities of the Office of the Parliamentary Military Commissioner in 2018.
Special attention was paid to the situation with human rights and status issues of members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Šiljegović informed General Dorfer about his observations during numerous field visits to BiH AF units and commands.
According to Šiljegović, it is evident that members of the BiH AF lack adequate equipment, work in difficult conditions, and that the process of supply and logistical support is not at a level sufficient to carry out regular tasks and obligations.
General Dorfer briefed the parliamentary military commissioner on the work of the EUFOR Mission in 2018.
In this regard, EUFOR Commander also spoke about the current activities and efforts to raise cooperation with the BiH AF at a higher level, because, as he said, there are real preconditions for this, stated the Public Relations Office of the BiH PA.
