SARAJEVO, October 22 (FENA) - A simulation of the outbreak of an epidemic in Bosnia and Herzegovina is a major aspect of the workshop "Managing the food-borne epidemic outbreak" that began today in Sarajevo.

Nicole Gollnick of the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment of Germany explained that the workshop participants will have to find out the cause of the simulated epidemic outbreak and offer solutions to the crisis.

“Also, a simulation of a press conference will be held because the alleged epidemic outbreak in BiH has sparked international attention,” added Gollnick.

The FBiH Trade Minister Zlatan Vujanović stressed that workshops of this type can significantly raise the competences of the institutions to respond in such situations.

The workshop is part of technical assistance of the German Government to improve the agricultural sector in BiH.
