SARAJEVO, October 25 (FENA) - Foreign Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Igor Crnadak today met with Head of the Mission of the International Organization for Migration in BiH (IOM) and sub-regional coordinator for the Western Balkans Peter Van der Auweraert to discuss the situation with migrants in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Minister Crnadak stressed that all levels of government are working in coordinated manner towards finding a solution to the problems related to the accommodation of migrants currently located in BiH.
He thanked the IOM for engagement and assistance to the BiH institutions in order to overcome the situation that BiH is facing with regard to the influx of migrants.
Head of Mission of the International Organization for Migration in BiH, Peter informed Minister Crnadak about the ongoing situation regarding migrants and refugees in BiH, with the focus on the activities of the main stakeholders on the ground.
Van der Auweraert invited Minister Crnadak to attend the intergovernmental conference in Marrakech on December 10 this year.
The Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration is expected to be adopted at this conference, which is an agreement that covers all dimensions of international migration, harmonized with the United Nations, stated the Public Relations Office of the MFA BiH.
