SDA: RS Council of Peoples should become a legislative body in its full capacity

SARAJEVO, November 19 (FENA) - The Party of Democratic Action (SDA) has rejected and rated as highly irresponsible the statement and threat of Milorad Dodik that the entity of RS would enter constitutional changes and abolish the Council of Peoples of RS if the Serb Caucus in the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH is not formed. 

The SDA underlines that even if the Serb Caucus in the FBiH Parliament is not formed to the full, it performs its constitutional role, while the RS Council of Peoples, although fully formed, "is unable to perform its duty due to obstacles and blockades in the RS Constitutional Court".

"That is why the SDA will seek the abolition of the administrative obstacles. The right solution is, and it will be proposed by the SDA, that the protection of the vital national interest gets symmetrical mechanisms that should exist in parallel in both Houses of the entity parliaments.
