SARAJEVO, November 20 (FENA) - The BiH Presidency Member Željko Komšić told the press after the constitution of a new convocation of the BiH Presidency that the incumbent Presidency member Dragan Čović's choice not to attend the inaugurating session is directly linked to Komšić's election to the presidency.
"We all know that this is the case, but no matter what it is, it is still surprising and one cannot stop wondering how adults can behave like small children. But, nevertheless, it is his thing, his choice," Komšić said, questioned to comment on Čović's refusal to come to the inauguration today.
Asked how he plans to represent the interests of Croats in BiH, Komšić replied that members of the Presidency today have sworn to protect the interests of BiH and all its citizens.
That, as he explained, means Croats, Bosniaks, Serbs, and all other citizens of this country.
"My approach will be the same towards everyone. That is what all people in this country can expect from me," said Komšić.
Komšić told reporters that they planned to invite presidents from the region - Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, president of Croatia and president of Slovenia at today's inauguration.
"But, Mr. Čović disagreed with that. He did not give his permission to invite these guests, and some of them wanted to come to the inauguration. Džaferović, Dodik and I agreed to invite them. Unfortunately, Čović, who was still a member of the Presidency at the time, and did not allow this to happen," said Komšić.
