BRUSSELS/SARAJEVO, December 4 (FENA) - Bosnia and Herzegovina and its citizens will now have to decide what kind of cooperation they want, in the meantime, we are continuing our activities in BiH, stated senior NATO official, James Mackey for Radio Free Europe, after the NATO Secretary-General of Jens Stoltenberg yesterday announced that Bosnia and Herzegovina would be offered a Membership Action Plan for the accession into the Alliance.
"We have always worked with all political leaders in BiH, and it will be so in the future. The fact is that BiH now has to decide on its ambitions regarding NATO relations.
This issue will have to be addressed by the citizens of BiH themselves," said Mackey, head of the NATO’s Euro-Atlantic and Global Partnership Office.
Mackey has years of experience in the field of security policy, and has been involved in all processes related to the Partnership for Peace Program, which includes, among others, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
