SARAJEVO, December 4 (FENA) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Šefik Džaferović, received today in an inaugural visit Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Đorđević.
The two officials highlighted the satisfactory bilateral cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Serbia, but also that the two neighboring countries have outstanding issues which need to be addressed.
Džaferović pointed out that the good relations of neighboring countries are crucial for stability in the region.
He emphasized that Bosnia and Herzegovina wants to have cooperation and build good relations with all neighboring countries, and that this cooperation should be in the spirit of good neighborly relations, mutual respect, reciprocity and in accordance with international law.
Džaferović expressed expectations that the joint commitment of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Serbia to join the European Union would contribute to further improvement of mutual relations, stated the BiH Presidency.
