SARAJEVO, December 6 (FENA) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić received today Ambassador of the Republic of France to BiH, Guillaume Rousson.
Rousson congratulated Komšić on his election as a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the desire to establish a better cooperation in the coming period.
The two officials discussed the bilateral relations between BiH and France, which were rated as excellent, and that there were no open issues in this regard.
Rousson stressed France's support for Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially with regard to Euro-Atlantic integration, and emphasized that the activation of MAP, as an expression of multilateral cooperation, represents a direct invitation of the Alliance and that Bosnia and Herzegovina should take this chance.
They jointly assessed that there is significant room for improving economic cooperation between BiH and France, which certainly needs to be done through the institutions of both countries.
Komšić thanked Ambassador of the Republic of France Guillaume Rousson for everything that France has done for Bosnia and Herzegovina in the previous period, with hope that France would support BiH in obtaining a candidate status for joining the European Union, the BiH Presidency said.
