SARAJEVO, December 14 (FENA) - The Appellate Chamber of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed today the verdict of acquittal in the Fahrudin Radončić et al. case.

“The Appellate Chamber of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued a verdict rejecting the Prosecution's appeal as unfounded, and rendered as inadmissible an appeal by Azra Sarić and confirmed the first-instance verdict of the Court of BiH,” told FENA defendant’s lawyer Asim Crnalić.

In the first instance proceedings against the President of the Alliance for a Better Future (SBB), Fahrudin Radončić, and Bakir Dautbašić, Bilsena Šahman and Zijad Hadžijahić, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina in its ruling on 16 May acquitted the defendants of all charges.

The proceedings in this case were conducted on the basis of the indictment of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH from 2016, under which Radončić and others were charged with association for the commission of criminal offenses, interfering with the work of the judiciary and granting prizes or other form of benefits in trade of influence.
