SARAJEVO, December 16 (FENA) - Speaking of the sector of the military industry in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the period 2015-2018 can be considered as a historic, in terms of positive developments and trends in this branch, underlined the FBiH Minister of Energy, Mining, and Industry Nermin Džindić.

"The overall plan for the military industry of 300 million in 2018 will be met; in the first nine months, we were somewhere at 93-95 percent of the realization of the plan. So, by the end of the year, we will have between 97 and 100 percent of the plan fulfilled. In 2018, given the turbulence on the market and the overall developments in the world, which also have had an impact on our operations, we have had a slight decline of some two to three percent, which is not worrying for us," said Džindić in a statement to FENA.

He expects that, by the end of next week, all companies operating in the sector of the military industry, to submit their completed plans, after which they will soon be able to expect clear plans for the next year and some projections for 2020.

This is an industrial sector, noted Džindić, who cannot be planned only one year in advance, but always for the long-term contract period.

The military industry of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has recorded a significant growth in the total increase in the number of employees and revenues.

The fact that the industry has employed a thousand new workers in the mentioned period shows that this branch of industry is getting some serious attention. Consequently, the results have been very good, concluded the FBiH Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry Nermin Džindić.
