Foreign Minister Crnadak meets with US Deputy Secretary of State John Sullivan

SARAJEVO, December 17 (FENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Igor Crnadak met today in Sarajevo with the US Deputy Secretary of State John J. Sullivan.

The two officials discussed the ongoing situation in BiH, the process of forming the government at all levels after the October General Elections, and the foreign-policy priorities of BiH.

Minister Crnadak pointed out that the main foreign policy priority of BiH is membership in the European Union.

He emphasized that “BiH is for the strengthening of cooperation with NATO through available mechanisms and instruments of cooperation,” and reminded that Bosnia and Herzegovina is fully committed to peace, stability and prosperity of the region.

At the end of the meeting, Crnadak and the United States Ambassador to BiH Maureen Cormack, in the presence of Deputy Secretary of State Sullivan, signed the Annex to the Agreement on the lease of the building and land lot in Alipašina street in Sarajevo for the needs of the US Embassy.
