SARAJEVO, January 9 (FENA) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šefik Džaferović has welcomed the letter sent by the US Secretary of State Michael Pompeo to members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, urging them to adopt the NATO Annual National Program and this begin with the implementation of the Membership Action Plan.
“The views expressed in the letter are fully compatible with the main foreign and political goals and the commitment of Bosnia and Herzegovina, confirmed by earlier decisions of the BiH Presidency, the Defense Law and the BiH Foreign Policy Strategy.
I also welcome the position of the State Secretary that Bosnia and Herzegovina is of strategic importance for regional stability, as well as the expressed desire of the United States of America to raise the cooperation with Bosnia and Herzegovina to a higher level, which is in the interests of all peoples and citizens in our country,” said Džaferović, announced the BiH Presidency.
