BANJA LUKA, January 20 (FENA) – Chair of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik confirmed he will accompany two members of the Presidency, Šefik Džaferović and Željko Komšić, to Brussels to meet with the EU officials at the end of this month.
This will also be the first official visit of the new assembly of the BiH Presidency and he believes it will be a good opportunity to talk about the European path, but not the integration of BiH to NATO.
He told the RS Radio there is a consensus when it comes to the EU path in BiH, but there are currently too many internal issues in the country.
“Suddenly the NATO issue came up and relating this issue to formation of the government, which makes the visit more complicated, considering problems in BiH,” said Dodik.
He expects visit to Brussels will be a visit of opportunities, but he cannot guarantee a good result.
