TRAVNIK, January 30 (FENA) - The SDA Cantonal Board has nominated the incumbent Prime Minister of the Central Bosnia Canton (CBC), Tahir Lendo for a prime minister designate for the composition of the new cantonal government and has also nominated candidates for three ministerial positions as well as candidates for the House of Peoples of the Federation of BiH Parliament, told FENA President of the SDA Cantonal Board Asim Mekić.
The SDA Cantonal Board also established the list of candidates for the House of Peoples of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Parliament and expects the same to be done by a coalition of parties gathered around the HDZ BiH.
"As far as we are concerned, there are no obstacles for the constitutive session of the Assembly to be held this Friday, so that we can nominate the delegates to the House of Peoples. When it comes to the new government, it could take fifteen days, because there are procedures that we have to comply with,” said Mekić.
“We have received a green light from the party headquarters to go in this direction. Given that there no coalition has been formed that would reflect the state, FBiH and cantonal levels, we have gathered a two-thirds majority for the new government,” Mekić added.
