FENA Vehid Begunić

ZENICA, January 31 (FENA) - President of the cantonal board of Party of Democratic Action (SDA) and current Prime Minister of Zenica-Doboj Canton (ZDC) Miralem Galijašević told FENA that the party signed a coalition agreement today with representatives of Croat Democratic Community of BiH (HDZ BiH), Party of Democratic Activity (A-SDA) and Party for BiH (SBiH) and independent deputy Omer Škaljo.

There are 18 deputies in the new parliamentary majority in ZDC, which means they can nominate a candidate for the position of prime minister and elect new cantonal government.

"We still have not determined who the candidate will be but we will do that soon. We are not sure if we can do it when the constituting session of the 8th assembly of ZDC Assembly resumes, but we will reconstruct management of the Assembly," said Galijašević.

He added that their first move will be dismissal of president of Bosniak Caucus in ZDC Assembly, Nusret Imamović from the Independent Bloc (NB), and appointment of new president in accordance with the new parliamentary assembly.
