SARAJEVO, February 4 (FENA) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Šefik Džaferović, received in an inaugural visit the Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to BiH, Ulrike Hartmann.
The two officials affirmed the friendly relations and exceptionally good bilateral cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Austria, both on political and economic level.
It was pointed out that the majority of foreign investments in Bosnia and Herzegovina come from Austria, and that the foreign trade exchange is at a high level, with the surplus generated by our country.
The interlocutors agreed that there is room for further improvement of cooperation.
Džaferović and Hartmann exchanged opinions on the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region, with particular reference to the process of government formation after the general elections in our country.
In this context, they expressed consent that the rule of law and respect for the laws in force are the fundamental European principles and standards.
Džaferović thanked Ambassador Hartmann for the support that the Republic of Austria has continuously provided to Bosnia and Herzegovina on its path to the EU integration, stated the BiH Presidency.
