SARAJEVO, February 5 (FENA) - Deciding on Prosecutor’s Custody Motion against the suspects in the Milenko Gojgolović case, on 2 February 2019, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued a decision ordering the suspect Milenko Gojgolović into pre-trial custody on the statutory grounds prescribed in Article 132(1), Subparagraphs a) and b), of the Criminal Procedure Code of BiH, which include the flight risk and reasonable fear that, if released, the suspect might affect the criminal proceedings by interfering with the witnesses.
According to the decision, pre-trial custody may not exceed 1 (one) month running from the day of arrest, which means until 1 March 2019 or pending a different decision by the Court.
Milenko Gojgolović is suspected of the criminal offense of War Crimes against Civilians under Article 142 of the Criminal Code of the Socialist Federative Republic of Yugoslavia (CC SFRY), stated the BiH Court.
