SARAJEVO, February 6 (FENA) - Head of the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ambassador Bruce Berton, met today with Minister of Justice and Administration of the Sarajevo Canton Lejla Brčić and discussed the implementation of the Law on Reporting, Determining the Origin and Controlling the Property of Elected Officials.
The meeting was also a chance to express support and announce the implantation of anti-corruption activities related to the regulation of the field of employment, allocation of incentives and grants from the SC budget, but also the transparency of the work of the institutions, in order to ensure the adequate implementation of funds, control and their return, all in line with the recommendations given through the various reviews of these processes.
Most of these activities are implemented in cooperation with the Office for Combating Corruption and Quality Management.
Ambassador Berton offered support to the Ministry and stated that their experts are ready to help organize public debates in order to come up with even more quality solutions to improve these, but also all other regulations that the Ministry plans to introduce.
The OSCE Mission to BiH has supported the work of the Office for the Fight against Corruption and Quality Management, and emphasized its importance and role in the implementation of anti-corruption activities, as they represent a model for the state level implementation and their experiences are already being transferred and can be of good use internationally, stated the press service of the Sarajevo Canton.
