SARAJEVO, February 8 (FENA) - Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Federation of BiH Lidija Bradara has sent a request to the Central Election Commission (CEC) for the maximum possible speeding up of the procedure for completing the process of filling the House so that she can schedule the constitutive session of the new convocation in the shortest possible time, announced Bradara’s office.
“I address you as the Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina to provide me the information on the conducted procedure for the election and confirmation of the delegates to the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Bradara has asked for an acceleration of the procedure for confirmation of the delegates to the House of Peoples, in order to convene as soon as possible a session of the new convocation as the chairperson of the previous one.
“I believe that I do not have to remind you of the utmost importance of the prompt constituting of a new convocation of the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to achieve financial and political stabilization of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, since the budget of the Federation of BiH for 2019, the Decision on interim financing of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, nor any other acts related to the financial stability of the FBiH have been adopted, all due to the political irresponsibility of the cantonal legislations,” stressed Bradara.
By constituting the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the constitution of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina would be completed as well, Bradara noted.
“I expect that, in accordance with the legal provisions, the procedure is to be completed as soon as possible,” it is stated in Bradara’s request to the Central Election Commission of BiH.
