SARAJEVO, February 10 (FENA) - Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Bosnia and Herzegovina Haldun Koç hosted a reception for a delegation of athletes from his country that will participate in the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) in Sarajevo and East Sarajevo.
Ambassador Koç expressed satisfaction that EYOF is being held in Bosnia and Herzegovina, adding that this is significant for the entire region. He recalled that the past Youth Olympiad was held in Turkey.
"More than thirty participants will compete in all categories from Turkey. We hope that the competitions will be held all in accordance with the plan and in the sports spirit. We would also like to get some medals," said Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to BiH Haldun Koç in his statement to FENA.
Secretary General of the Youth Olympic Committee of Turkey, Neşe Gündoğan, expressed joy that the young athletes of Turkey will participate in this sports event in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
