MOSTAR, February 18 (FENA) - President of the Croat Democratic Union (HDZ) BiH Dragan Čović said on Monday in Mostar that the leadership of the House of Peoples of the Federation of BiH will be elected on Wednesday, February 20, and the budget should be adopted as well, along with the election of representatives in the House of Peoples of the Parliament of BiH.
“On Tuesday, HDZ BiH shall send to the Central Election Commission its list for five delegates in the House of Peoples of BiH Parliament, and we expect that the President of the House of Peoples would a from the Croat people,” Čović told journalists during the break of the session of HDZ Presidency, which, among other things, discussed the current political situation in BiH and the position of the Croat people.
As far as the adoption of the FBiH budget is concerned, everything has been agreed so that as of Thursday, the Federation of BiH will be able to dispose with all of the budget funds.
When it comes to the power at state level, Čović said that “in the course of next week, we should have a prime minister designate for the Council of Ministers of BiH, and in order to achieve this, we have to hold more meetings with those who want to be a part of the government at the state level,” said Čović.
