TIKA implements 850 projects in BiH, plans for investing in Bosanska Gradiška

BANJA LUKA, February 25 (FENA) - Director of Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Omer Faruk Alimci, said that the Agency has so far implemented 850 development projects in various areas in BiH.

Alimci talked today with the head of the local community of Bosanska Gradiška Zoran Adžić and the vice-president of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, Senad Bratić, about the possibilities for the support of this agency and Turkish companies for development projects in Bosanska Gradiška region.

They exchanged ideas and presented prospects for the projects in the field of local infrastructure, support to agricultural production, especially in the field of growing fruits and vegetables, and also the plans for the restoration of parts of the Berbir Fortress.

Bratić thanked the representatives of TIKA and the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in BiH on the expressed commitment to support the implementation of development projects both in the area of ​​Bosanska Gradiška municipality and in the wider region.
