SARAJEVO, February 28 (FENA) - Chairperson of the House of Representatives of BiH Parliamentary Assembly (BiH PA) Borjana Krišto received newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to BiH Ulrike Hartmann in an inaugural visit.
During the meeting they talked about possibilities to enhance cooperation between the two countries, especially through implementation of bilateral and twinning projects between the parliaments. They agreed it is necessary to form parliamentary friendship groups as soon as possible, which will strengthen overall and inter-parliamentary relations between BiH and Austria.
They agreed the visit of President of Parliament of Austria to our country in April this year, which will be an opportunity to discuss open issues.
Ambassador Hartmann invited Chairperson Krišto and her two deputies Denis Zvizdić and Nebojša Radmanović to this-year's conference of presidents of parliaments of the EU, which is held within Austrian chairmanship of the European Council.
Chairperson Krišto informed the Ambassador about the current political situation in BiH.
They concluded at the meeting that general and legal security in BiH will be precondition to increase Austrian investments in our country, PR Office of BiH PA stated.
