BANJA LUKA, March 5 (FENA) - It is a well-known fact that I have reexamined my stay in the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina even before I have been elected, stated today the Presidency Chairman and SNSD leader Milorad Dodik.
Dodik added that he did not took the position in the BiH Presidency “to earn a salary only by taking photos,” but that he wanted to do something concrete.
“If there is no way to do something real, why would I use my energy on endless meetings in Sarajevo that do not produce any results? I do not care for that,” said Dodik.
He emphasized that he does not want to take part in the blockades of any kind, nor, as he says, “to waste his energy on some issues which have already been agreed before, but are again being challenged.”
One such blockade, which should not exist, as Dodik claims, relates to the lower cost of roaming services for BiH citizens with countries in the region, and later with EU members, claiming that "BiH is the only one that does not want to sign a roaming agreement because of the interests of certain companies."
“Is there any need to question the signing of this agreement and why would citizens pay higher prices? What kind of country does not want to protect its citizens? "Dodik asked.
Asked if the BiH institutions should have their own airplane, since he traveled to Brussels with the airplane of the government of RS, Dodik replied that he was elected to represent the entity of RS, that he is an official of RS and that he believes he has the right and the authority to use the resources of RS.
He does not believe that it is possible to reach a deal on a purchase of an airplane for the BiH institutions, because, he says, “there is a problem in the BiH institutions even if you want to paint the walls in the Presidency.”
