BIHAĆ, March 15 (FENA) - The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in BiH and the City of Bihać have implemented a joint project to build a water supply network in the Kombitex Business Zone, where 150,000 KM were invested.

“With the help of USAID in BiH, we have completed an extremely important project, creating the preconditions for establishing one of the largest business zones in BiH.

There are already around 30 business entities here, but with the provision of water, electricity and other necessities, we will definitely expand this business zone,” said Bihać Mayor Šuhret Fazlić.

Director of USAID in BiH Peter Duffy visited today the Kombitex Business Zone in Bihać.

“I have seen for myself that this is really a big business zone, with huge potential. Road communications, water, electricity have been provided, and the proximity of the European Union market is particularly important. I am glad that in a short period of time, since the completion of our water supply network project, several investors have purchased facilities here. Of course, there is more work to be done, but all this really is promising," Duffy said.

It was also pointed out that the project of the water supply system in the Kombitex Business Zone will be fully completed with the construction of a secondary water supply network that will serve as a supply for the hydrant network.
