STRASBOURG, March 20 (FENA) - The Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights, Dunja Mijatović, published on twitter concerning today's UN Court's judgment on Karadžić case.
“Today’s UN court’s ruling upholding Karadžić conviction of genocide and war crimes, including the Srebrenica genocide and the siege of Sarajevo shows that justice prevails.
Fighting against denial of war crimes and educating about the truth is now more important than ever,” wrote Mijatović reacting to Karadžić’s final verdict in which he is sentenced to life in prison by The Hague Tribunal.
