Cvijanović: RS committed to European, but not to NATO integration

FENA Press release

BANJA LUKA, March 22 (FENA) - President of the entity of RS Željka Cvijanović underlined today that the constituting of the new Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina “should be a matter of respecting democratic procedures and exercising electoral will of citizens, and not the subject of conditioning and provoking a political crisis in BiH.”

During her meeting with Austrian Ambassador to BiH Ulrike Hartmann, Cvijanović said that the example of Austria shows that membership in the European Union does not necessarily entail NATO membership.

“This is in line with the attitude of RS. We are committed to European, but not to NATO integration,” said Cvijanović.
