SARAJEVO, April 1(FENA) - The Land Day is a day that the Palestinians mark each year in order to remember March 30, 1976, and in memory of six Palestinians killed 43 years ago in protests over the occupation of Palestine.

On this occasion, the Embassy of the State of Palestine in BiH and the association "Bosnia and Herzegovina-Palestine Friendship” hosted today at the Bosniak Institute in Sarajevo a panel discussion devoted to this tragedy, and in general to the tragedy of Palestine.

Ambassador of the State of Palestine in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Rezeq Namoora, recalled the injustice that the Palestinians have been suffering for years, pointing out that in this country, every day is a Land Day.

He underlined that Palestine is still ready to abide by all peace agreements, the resolutions and has urged for them to be respected.

Ambassador Namoora said, among other things, that Jerusalem is not a city for sale, that it cannot be alienated from Palestine because it is a Palestinian city that was occupied in 1967, which is a subject to the resolutions of international law. Therefore, as he pointed out, "Donald Trump cannot give it away to Israel."

“The Palestinian people are for the continuance of the peace process, freedom and dignified life,” emphasized Ambassador Namoora.
