BiH CoM and Government of Bulgaria sign Memorandum of Cooperation

TREBINJE/SARAJEVO, April 5 (FENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Igor Crnadak and Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to BiH Augustina Tzvetkova-Karabascheva signed a Memorandum on Cooperation between the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria in the field of European Integration in Trebinje today.

The Memorandum defines the terms and methods of cooperation of the two countries in the field of European integrations in a precise manner in order to successfully prepare Bosnia and Herzegovina for membership in the European Union.

The Memorandum also foresees cooperation through: holding regular consultations on the accession of BiH to the EU, harmonization of the BiH legislation with the acquis communautaire, strengthening BiH institutional mechanisms for coordination in the field of European integration, development of administrative capacities of civil servants responsible for European affairs in Bosnia and Herzegovina, cooperation on the development of twinning and other projects in order to strengthen the capacities necessary for European integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina, stated the BiH MFA.
