SARAJEVO, April 15 (FENA) - Member of the BiH Presidency Željko Komšić extended congratulations on the occasion of April 15 - Day of RBiH Army.
"Army of RBiH was created as the necessary organized resistance to aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina committed by neighbor countries. It was the only legal and legitimate military formation that defended constitutional order of the Republic of BiH. Through its fight it kept its multiethnic and antifascist character. Faced with barbarism and crimes marked by ethnic cleansing and genocide, Army of RBiH also fought for civilization values, following what is written in charters and conventions of the United Nations, and it is the biggest reason why state of BiH survived.
On this day we should remember all those members of Army of RBiH who gave everything defending their state. They gave their lives so we could continue fight for survival of the state, a state whose integrity and sovereignty are still being questioned by some.
We have an obligation to continue fighting because of their fight and sacrifice. That is our debt towards those who unfortunately are no longer with us, but also to future generations," stated Member of the BiH Presidency Željko Komšić, Presidency of BiH stated.
