Ruling parties in RS agree on joint activities by 2022

MRAKOVICA, April 19 (FENA) - Parties of the ruling coalition in Republika Srpska (RS) reached an agreement yesterday on joint activities until 2022 and they determined percentage of participation in government of each member, based on number of deputies in the entity parliament.

Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) will have 53.57 percent, Democratic National Alliance 14.29 percent, Socialist Party 12.50 percent, Democratic Alliance – Demos and United Srpska 7.14 percent each and National Democratic Movement (NDP) 5.36 percent.

President of SNSD Milorad Dodik stated they agreed to make a new annex with this percentage by May 15, which will determine what belongs to which party.

During the break of the meeting which was held on Mrakovica, he stated the agreement includes principles based on which to form the coalition council and the way it will operate.

Dodik added they determined that representatives of the ruling parties will meet once in three months, and they will also form a commission which will deal with all operational issues.
