BANJA LUKA, April 23 (FENA) - Slavisa Krunić, a businessman from Banja Luka, managing director of the companies "Sector Security" and "Žitoprodukt", was assassinated last night near his family home house in the village of Glamočani, in the municipality of Laktaši.
One of the persons who was with Krunić at that moment was also killed, while another person was wounded in the shootout, and one of the attackers was also killed.
FENA learns from the police that an on-site investigation was taking place in Glamočani, near Banja Luka, and a search was carried out at the site of the shooting last night where three people were killed and one person was seriously injured.
The investigation into this serious criminal offense is carried out by the Directorate for Organized and Serious Crime of Republika Srpska Ministry of Internal Affairs, under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office Special Department for the suppression of corruption and organized crime and other forms of serious economic crime.
The police received a call from an unknown female at about 22.43 hrs., who stated that a shootout took place in Glamočani, on the property of Slaviša Krunić and that there were wounded people, but when the police came to the site of the incident, there were several dead and wounded persons.
The media in Banja Luka, referring to unofficial sources, claim that Krunić was killed in a classic stake-out in front of his family estate.
