FOČA, May 4 (FENA) - Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to BiH Haldun Koç, this Saturday in a festive ceremony in Foča held a speech on the occasion of the opening of the rebuilt Aladža Mosque.

Koç said that Bosnia and Herzegovina, with its multiethnic, multiconfessional properties, is a special country. He added that it is located in a special place and that it relies on tolerance and mutual coexistence.

"Our embassy and all of our other institutions operating in BiH are working hard to contribute to peace and communion throughout BiH. We are doing this with great excitement and with a great desire to make things better here, because our relations, both historically and among the people, are truly special," said Koç, adding that stability in BiH means stability in the entire region.

" The Aladža Mosque, the Bridge on the Drina River in Višegrad, the Cultural Center in Trebinje, the Riyasat building in Sarajevo, believe me, are all being built with a lot of love," said Koç.

He noted that we must not forget that all the holy places are sacred and that we all have to protect them together.

"That is why I wish that this beautiful mosque brings a lot of joy and prosperity to Foča, and to attract many travelers and tourists to your beautiful town," said the Turkish Ambassador.
